Sewak Motilal
We bow our heads in gratitude at the lotus feet of our Lord Shri Sai Nath for having brought us here this day when His life-size statue is being unveiled in the temple on the outskirts of Faridabad town in the lush green rural surroundings in the presence of a galaxy of Sai devotees from all over the world, who have come to attend the International Convention of Shirdi Sai devotees. Whatever little we have been able to achieve would have been well nigh impossible without His Grace, which is always available in abundant measure to those who seek it.
We pray to Baba
to continue to extend His Hand of Mercy on us all, and to give us vivek,
vishwas, vinay sheelta, vinamrta, shraddha, saburi, will to achieve results and
serve the poor and needy without any traces of ego.
To His devotees
who have gathered here on this unique and historic occasion, we express our
heartfelt gratitude for joining us and providing us moral support. We are fully
conscious of our limitations, which have come in our way, to provide them the
comforts which they were perhaps used to. We crave their pardon and sincerely
request them to continue to provide their support and cooperation in our
endeavours to make this institution a centre of devotion to Baba and service to
humanity from where Baba's Grace could flow in all directions and enwrap the
doubting and the diseased.
Shri Sai Baba
of Shirdi was a Yug-Purush who had come on this earth at a time when people
were beset with dissensions based on religion and dogmas and there was an
all-round degeneration of moral values, Let us all , without any prejudice of
religion, caste, creed, sect or any other man-made divisions, join together and
spread the message of Baba of oneness of humanity. Let us strive to take the
men of today afflicted with want, misery, disease and dogmas onto the road of
peace and a life of partnership, sharing and caring for each other, and
endeavour to usher the universe into the kingdom of Sai Grace.
We hope and
pray that the deliberations in the convention will be fruitful and of use to
Sai devotees all over. The convention may also help in providing the devotees
an opportunity to come together on one platform and strengthen the universal
ties of brotherhood.
On this joyous
and epoch-making occasion, we acknowledge our deep gratitude to all those who
have contributed in great measure to the coming up of the temple. We pray to
Baba to shower on them His choicest blessings.
Lastly we
express our profound gratitude to all Sai devotees living in and around
Faridabad and in other parts of India who have voluntarily come forward with
contributions in the form of money, material and physical labour in raising
this institution, and also to all business houses who have put in their
advertisements in the souvenir and lent us a helping hand in our hour of need.
May Shri Baba's Grace ever be with all
His devotees.

Sai Nath, you are the ocean of compassion,
embodiment of serenity, repository of cosmic intelligence, the perennial river
of mercy, truth incarnate and the dispeller of the darkness of illusion (Maya)
You are the sage beyound caste and creed,
the abode of compassion and beyond comprehension. O, Lord, the dweller of the
village of Shirdi, protect me, protect me!
You are the river of divine knowledge, you
are the bestower of knowledge, you are the cause of all auspicious actions. O
Paramahansa of the hearts of all devotees! I seek refuge in you-Protect me.
You are Brahma, the creator; you are
Vishnu, the sustainer of the universe; and you are Shiva, the destroyer of the
three worlds.
O Sai Nath! You are omnipresent and
omniscent. There is no place in the world without you and your presence is felt
in everything. Every heart is your abode.
Pardon all my sins, I beseech you, O Lord!
Remove immediately the cause of doubts and delusions arising in my heart.
You are the cow and I am your calf, you
are the moon and I am the ray of its light. At your feet like the Ganges, I,
your slave, prostrate with reverence.
Sai Nath, place the hand of your mercy on my head and ward off all sorrows and worries. This Ganu is your slave.
